April 3, 2002 In the past weeks we have been on several calls where the root of the problem was caused by viruses on a PC and/or File Server. It is extremely important that proper Antivirus (virus scanning/removal) methods are put in place to protect your computer network. As more and more networks are being connected to the Internet the threat is even further amplified. We have a number of solutions available, ranging from a simple application that runs on your PC to full blown gateway systems that can clean viruses and send appropriate alerts to the sender and all intended recipients. An Antivirus solution is no longer an option, it is a necessity.
